Program objectives

Building a faster, more productive, resilient construction system for the future

diverse range of residential and non-residential built form that meets government and private sector needs, with a particular focus on medium and high- density residential product and consideration given to NSW Government’s existing housing programs including the NSW Government Architect Pattern Book designs and Systems 600 principles.

NSW by building advanced manufacturing capability, creating local jobs, and strengthening the resilience of the housing economy and its supply chain.

Establish or Expand an Advanced Manufacturing Facility Establish or scale existing advanced manufacturing production, capabilities, or facility/facilities which operates using MMC processes, systems and technology that is financially viable.

Select Capable Proponent(s) for Timely Delivery and Operation

Establish an Appropriate Transaction Structure Establish a transaction structure and risk allocation that appropriately balances roles and responsibilities between the proponent and the Government.

Select a proponent(s) with the capability, capacity and credibility to accelerate the development and/or establishment of an AMF within a 3-year period so that production commences within a reasonable timeframe.
